Ships are what make New Eden go round, doing everything from basic transportation, to heavy combat, to exploration, to harvesting resources. Each hull falls into a basic class, though others may fall into more advanced variants of that class.
The icons listed here for each class of ship match how they will appear both in space and in your Overview.
indicates that a ship can be flown by an Alpha-state player. The skills for the ship itself cannot be trained past level 3 as an Alpha-state player, however.
indicates that a ship can only be flown by an Omega-state player, either subscribed or paid for via PLEX. The skills required for such ships either cannot be trained as an Alpha-state player, or cannot be trained high enough in that state. Even if trained, the skills are inactive while in Alpha-state, preventing a player from using the skills or ships that require them until once again in Omega-state.
