Skills are the backbone of all Capsuleers. They all have an effect on what one can or cannot use, and with rare exceptions they affect how well they can be used. Skills influence what ships can be piloted, reprocessing of materials, and even how many long market orders can be posted at one time or how far away they can be modified from.
